Revenue sharing is the distribution of profits and losses between position holders, who could be general partners (and limited partners in a limited partnership), a company’s employees, or between companies in a business alliance.
Here is a million dollar question, which I have been asked many times, what am I doing to make sure that the same thing doesn’t happen to Traffic Express as happened to Traffic Monsoon?
As it happens, the majority of small business owners try to wear too many hats, by trying to carry out as many roles as possible and overlook important issues or problems which can only be resolved by qualified, specialised professionals.
Now, if you have been following Traffic Monsoon, you will have noticed that at one point, Charles Scoville, the owner of Traffic Monsoon, had to take the appropriate time to find a legal and experienced team to fight the case against the SEC.
And this is what I’ve been advised to do also and build a firewall to deal with the legal issues of Traffic Express, meaning when someone approaches us, asking legal questions to do with the business, all I have to do is tell them to go and talk to my solicitors to get answers, quite simple really.
But, in order to discover such a thing, you must have learnt them from other people’s mistakes or our own.
With that said, I cannot however guarantee that the same thing cannot happen to Traffic Express, as you know, after all Traffic Monsoon has been through, there are a small minority of people who do not put any effort into learning and understanding the business model, which can really cause problems, not only for TM but the whole revenue share industry entirely.
It’s important to note that this small minority of people still cause problems in the following areas:
- Convincing people that there is no other business like Traffic Monsoon.
- Attacking people who work the hardest and the most in building the Traffic Monsoon brand.
- Although they claim they are not investors, this small minority still seem to be expressing an interest only in the money rather than the business model itself.
Now, needless to say, Traffic Express is making every effort to make sure every customer/user understands the revenue share model. Why it was created and that it is all about business and customers alike, giving power to the people by helping each other, with affordable advertising and exposure and providing an equal incentive and income potential.
As long as we can make sure people understand this and people work within the limits of the terms and conditions within the website, we should not face any problems with regards to the legal terms.
